A dazzler kilim or flat weave woven with a heavy and tight structure by a Kurdish weaver from Northwest Persia. The design comprises abstract vertical bands across the entire surface of the weaving, probably representing striking lightning interspersed with flowing rivers. Long pig tails have been formed to secure the warps at the lower bottom end of the weaving, indicating a likely nomadic flourish to decorate the kilim.
