Where do the objects featured on StoryLTD come from? Does StoryLTD make any products?

The objects featured on StoryLTD come from reputable sources including individual designers, art galleries, collectors, manufacturers and dealers. StoryLTD does not create any objects.

Are the objects featured on StoryLTD authentic?

Yes, the objects featured on StoryLTD are authentic and are often unique or part of a limited edition. Read more on Authenticity

Do you charge a commission from the buyers?

We do not charge any commission for products in our fixed price collections. For auctions, however, we charge a premium on the hammer price. Learn more about a buyer's premium.

Where are the objects shipped out from?

Objects are generally shipped out from our Mumbai or New York offices. In certain cases, the objects may be shipped directly from their origin location. The ship-out location is indicated on the item’s page as well as in the shopping bag.

Can I collect an object I purchase directly from your offices?

Certain items may be collected directly from our offices in Mumbai or New York only if they are shipping from those cities. The ship-out location is indicated on the item’s page, as well as in the shopping bag.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping charges are listed in the shopping bag and in the order confirmation.

Can I consolidate the shipping cost for different categories?

Yes, your shipping cost is automatically consolidated across different collections and categories.

Are the objects shipped by ground, sea or air?

We use the shipping method that balances time and cost. Most items are shipped by air. However, heavier items such as furniture are generally shipped by ground. Extremely heavy shipments may be sent by sea internationally, however this is rare.

Will the objects featured on StoryLTD be insured for shipment?

Yes, the objects featured on StoryLTD will be insured on your behalf for transit.

Will I need to pay import duties?

For international shipments, import duties and related taxes or charges may be applicable, and will need to be paid directly to the courier company or customs upon receipt of goods.

What happens to unsold items in a collection on StoryLTD?

If an object remains unsold after a certain collection has closed and you are interested in purchasing it, you can email us on contact@StoryLTD.com. If it is still available for sale, we will let you know.

Can I personally view the objects featured on StoryLTD?

The objects featured in the collections on StoryLTD may be available to view in one of our galleries. This is often mentioned on the detail page for the particular object.

Can I get condition reports for art, jewellery and vintage objects featured for re-sale on StoryLTD?

Yes, condition reports for many of the objects featured for re-sale on StoryLTD are available on request. Please email us on contact@StoryLTD.com if you would like to request a condition report.

Can I modify or change my order?

Yes, if we haven’t processed your order already. Please contact us no later than within 12 hours of placing the order on contact@StoryLTD.com to modify your order. We can also help you if you want to update your shipping address.

Are physical gift cards available or only electronic gift vouchers?

No we only have virtual gift cards available for sale at the moment. The virtual gift cards are sent via an email with a coupon code which needs to be entered at the time of checkout.

Do gift cards have an expiry date?

There is no expiry date on the gift cards.

Can a gift card be returned?

No, gift cards can't be returned.

My gift card code isn't working

Gift card codes are case sensitive so please check and try again. Alternatively, you can contact us by sending an email at contact@StoryLTD.com

What happens if I lose my gift card?

Unfortunately, the gift cards are not replaceable. Please save them carefully in your email box.

Can I give my gift card to someone else?

Yes. Feel free to email your gift card to your friends and family. Anyone can use a gift card on storyltd.com provided they have a valid gift card code.

Can I use more than one gift card in a single transaction?

No you cannot use more than one gift card in a single transaction.

Can I use my gift card as part payment towards an order alongside a credit/debit card?

Yes, you can. You will need to apply the gift card code first, followed by your credit/debit card details for the outstanding balance.

I want to purchase an item that is less than the value of my gift card. What will happen to the remaining balance?

The remaining balance on your gift card can be applied towards a future purchase.

Can I use the gift card on the Saffronart.com website?

No, the StoryLTD giftcard is only applicable to purchases made at the StoryLTD website.
