Stories of the nine great women from Indian Mythologies written by Sunity Devee. The Ideal Women included in this book are Sati, Sunity, Shakuntala, Savitri, Shaibya, Sita, Promila, Damayanti, and Uttara.

Sunity Devee, the Maharani of Cooch Behar in West Bengal, India, was born in 1864, and she died in 1932. In addition to being an author, she was also an educator and women's rights activist.
