A beautiful and colourful Shulaver Kazak region carpet from the Caucasus mountains. The field is centered around a vertical axis formed with four interconnecting diamonds, each of which is filled with a different base colour and inscribed with abstract geometric symbols. The border system is defined with two wide and two narrow borders, each of which is filled with a different colour and woven with flower-inspired iconography.
