A bold and abstract South Persian carpet, possibly woven by a Bakhtiari artisan. The field contains a grid where most of the panels are filled with abstract tree iconography and some panels contain floral forms. Random talismanic icons are filled in most of the negative spaces. A prominent flowing river mountain peak border frames the field.
