A classic carpet, possibly woven by a Kurdish weaver from the Northeastern Quchan Khorassan area of Persia. The field is drawn with a grid containing twenty-four squarish panels, each of which contains an abstract flower shape. The field is surrounded by a wide border
containing Akstafa ‘gul’ and a narrow border with interfacing running dog symbols.
