Directed by Priyadrashan, Chup Chup Ke (2006) is adapted from the Malayalam film Punjabi House (1998) and stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, along with Neha Dhupia, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Shakti Kapoor, Om Puri and Anupam Kher.
Yash Chopra’s Silsila (1981), now considered a classic, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Sanjeev Kumar, Rekha and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, with Shashi Kapoor making a special appearance. It was also the last film to feature Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan together.
