Yash Chopra’s 1976 film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Raakhee, Neetu Singh, Rishi Kapoor, Simi Garewal, Parikshit Sahni and Naseem. It won the 1977 Filmfare Awards for Best Music, Best Lyricist, Best Male Playback Singer and Best Screenplay, and was nominated in other categories. It was the 8th highest grossing film of the year at the box office.
