Lauded as an epic film, Mughal-e-Azam is one of the few Indian films that don’t require an introduction. Directed by K. Asif, it stars Prithviraj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Madhubala, and Durga Khote. The story of doomed love between Prince Salim and Anarkali is one that has withstood time, not wearing out even today. Mughal-e-Azam broke box office records in India and won many awards, including a National Film Award and three Filmfare Awards.
