However, with a parental lineage in performing and visual arts, it was only a matter of time till he discovered his true calling as a visual artist and a photographer in pursuit of a journey of self-realisation and vivid creative expression.

His photo essays and features on subjects of Culture, Social issues and Business have been published in Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Washington Post, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Iran Daily, Jakarta Globe, Times of India, Fountain Ink, The Caravan, Forbes India, Motherland Magazine, BBC, The Sunday Guardian, JetWings, Fotoflock, Hindustan Times etc. His profession keeps him busy creating visual delights for the Advertising, Editorial and Corporate clientele in the domains of People, Lifestyle, Social Issues and Culture. His work has been recognised by the Smithsonian (USA) in '08. In 2013, he was a nominee for the Neel Dongre grant for Photographic Excellence for producing a collaborative project on Migrant Gurgaon and his photojournalistic work on the Nautch girls of Sonepur, awarded an Honorary Mention by the Media Foundation of India. Recently, he's a part of the collaborative project on documenting Tiruvannamalai as part of his work on Hinduism. A photography patron, he has also curated a show on the subject of graphic, erotic and conceptual Nudes entitled, 'Keeping up Appearances' in 2009 and more recently in 2013, a show of Raghu Rai's work's in Chennai at Apparao Galleries.
