A beautiful long Kurdish carpet with the well-known ‘seekh kababi’ composition of four leaves that appear like skewers emanating from a central flower core. Five large rosettes are placed in the negative spaces between four groups of the primary motif. A beautiful set of three borders surrounds the central field, with two narrow borders and one wide major border, all three of which have been adorned with scrolling vines made of butterfly-shaped flowers.
