A Southeast Persian carpet woven by an artisan from the Afshar tribe. The squarish shape containing a natural ivory camel wool field colour is overlaid with twelve bold flowers. The remaining areas of the field are adorned with a variety of abstract flora and fauna iconography. Three narrow borders frame the overall composition with abstracted scrolling vines.
