An album titled India with a collection of 53 photographs with a mix of albumen and silver gelatin prints of various Indian monuments, group photographs, portraits of the Maharaja and ethnographic portraits, all mounted on card; circa 1880s

Photographs vary in size with the smallest being 3.1 x 1.7 in (8 x 4.5 cm) and the biggest being 11.4 x 8.8 in (29 x 22.5 cm); with one photograph per page on 11 pages and the remaining mounted on 11 back-to-back pages. Mount Size: 9 x 11.4 in (23 x 29 cm). Album size: 9.4 x 12.5 in (24 x 32 cm); half-leather bound with gilt title “India” at the spine with four raised bands.

This is a grand tour album of Maharaja of Hathwa.
