The present lot is a 308-page diary done by Ramananda Bandyopadhyay. It is a collection of his personal thoughts on his life and the events taking place around him. It includes approximately 226 signed sketches, in felt-tip pen, pen and ink, and pastel, by the artist, and carries an inscription of the date “4/4/2001” in Bengali on the first page.
