Anagarika B. Govinda [1898-1985] was born Ernst Lothar Hoffmann and was of German-French origin who became a Buddhist monk. His art is obviously influenced by Roerich. He was the founder of the order of the Arya Maitreya Mandala and an expositor of Tibetan Buddhism, Abhidharma, and Buddhist meditation as well as other aspects of Buddhism. He was also a painter and poet.

This lot will be sold in "as is" condition.
There may be some minor tears/creases scratches, or holes commensurate with age that may not be visible in the images.
