Guide is a romantic drama directed by Vijay Anand in 1965, starring Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman. It draws its inspiration from R.K. Narayan’s acclaimed novel of the same name. A box office hit and lauded as a masterpiece, Cannes Film Festival in 2007 screened a U.S version written by Pearl S.Buck and directed by Tad Danielewski.
