This innovative painting draws on lived experiences of the artist and shows a bus in a small Indian town/village. Men and women crowd both into and on top of the bus, laden with their luggage including huge padlocked steel trunks! The body of the bus is decorated with Maithil flower and foliage motifs and the background is painted in a striking scarlet. This work fits right into both, an 'ethnic' or a 'contemporary' decor. (Detailed write-up on theme and artist will be received by buyer)
